"Your sins have been forgiven." These are the most remarkable words ever spoken to humanity. And they are words that the LORD repeats throughout the scripture story. Again and again, we hear this message.

Why is it so important? How can it be? And what is required of those to whom the words are spoken?

One of the new initiatives our leadership has decided to take for the year ahead is to determine a “Theme for the Year.”  The idea is to choose a theme that our churches can rally around—something we can spend the year learning about, praying for, or raising funds for—regardless of where we are located.

So here’s where we need your help: We need your ideas. What should our theme be? It could be a human-interest theme or a theological theme. It could be anything that our churches could rally around—to learn about and engage with from a Jesus lens.
