Andy has three quick announcements as we move into the season of Advent

Our passage for the first Sunday of Advent comes from the Old Testament prophet, Jeremiah. When walking through a forest, have you ever seen a new tree growing from the stump of an old tree? That's a good image to have in mind for today's lesson.

The Plan

We're having a Christmas celebration...!

There will be fun Christmas songs and lots of carols to be sung; we will hear the Christmas story and worship together. Join us for our annual Christmas CityWide.

Stay for the Meal After the Service!

That's right...  after the service, we will have a big church family meal together - as is our CityWide tradition. Plan on staying after to visit with others. And, if you've never been before - a huge welcome to you!
