Praying the Prayers

The practices of the church are: 1) Announcing the good news of God's kingdom, 2)  Healing the sick and tending to the poor and needy, 3) Corporate worship (teaching, prayers, lords supper, fellowship)  

At a recent CityWide, Andy taught about prayer in the historic and global church and at the end of the teaching, he gave us a simple prayer liturgy and urged us to take the month of February to pray through this guide. 

Attached at the link below is a new prayer guide that will lead us through the remainder of the 2024 calendar. Different Psalms are chosen for the months ahead, and we have also been assigned readings from the Gospel of John, the book of Hebrews, and the Gospel of Luke.
