In 1 Samuel 2 & 3, we are introduced to the priests of Israel, and the picture we are given isn't very pretty. The father and his sons have failed in their calling to God and his people. But as pastor Brian reminds us, God is a remnant God. He is always faithful to his people, and this often comes as he raises up new leaders and new generations. That is what we see when he speaks to a boy named Samuel.
