Fears

This is an episode of the CBC radio program Tapestry from a few weeks back. I heard it when it aired, and it really stuck with me. Our church listened to some clips from it this week, and I thought I'd share it with you all.

The show is about common fears and how we deal with them. The guest on the show is Rabbi Harold Kushner. He seems to have a very honest and realistic perspective on life and faith, and it was encouraging to hear his thoughts.

It's a choice

I really like the point he makes towards the end about "the liberating hypothesis". When faced with a choice, we should choose whichever option gives us more of life, rather than retreating into our fears.
Thanks for sharing, Trevor. I'm a Tapestry fan as well but haven't listened in awhile.
